Feeding Llano County
The
Llano Food Pantry has been serving families in the Llano area since 2000.
See our Distribution Schedule for the days when food will be distributed..
Our Humble Beginnings:
We began as nothing more than a few people who wanted to make a difference in
the lives of needy families in Llano County.
Important Notes about our Pantry:
- No workers receive any monies. All of our efforts are handled by our
dedicated volunteers.
- We don't require anyone to prove need to receive food.
- We make every effort to provide well balanced foods and are always available
to make preparation suggestions.
- Our available foods depend on the donations of others. As such, we
can't guarantee certain items will be available.
- Our volunteers provide not only their time, but use of their vehicles and
gas in picking up food from the Capital Area Food Bank in Austin.
How
you can give:
Those who want to participate in our food programs are always appreciated.
No matter what the amount, it all goes to feeding the hungry. No one in
our organization takes any salary or monies of any kind. ALL of our
donations are used in our efforts. With the tough economy, we have a
greater than ever need for donations of food and money. If you can help,
please let us know.
